Overview

The Berlage Innovative 4-H Grant Program supports 4-H club programs through grants for service or outreach projects. The program strengthens outreach and 4-H club programs.

Geographic Scope

Maryland

Award Information

Minimum of four (4) $250.00 grants awarded annually

Project Eligibility Requirements:

Service or outreach project in which 60% of club members participate

Preference given to projects that:

- Educate the community about 4-H, OR
- Help "To Make The Best Better" within the community or county

Fund Usage

• Funds must be used within 12 months of receiving the award
• No limit to number of years a club may apply

Reporting Requirements

Final report due within 30 days of project completion. Must include:
• Summary about the project
• Photos with brief descriptions (for publicity)
• Participant quotes

Eligible Applicants

• Active 4-H clubs in Maryland
