Do you know of an awesome community organization in Baltimore City that supports youth ages 24 and under? If so, we'd love for you to nominate them for the Community Accountable Fund!  Nominees will receive a link to apply for the grant themselves, but a nomination doesn't guarantee funding.Full Proposal - Invite Only Supporting our City Baltimore Children & Youth Fund (BCYF) is a nonprofit organization stewarding public funds to ensure our children and youth are healthy, ready to succeed in school and live in stable, safe and supportive families and communities. Community Accountable Fund The Community Accountable Fund (CAF) supports youth-serving organizations with a demonstrated commitment to being credible with and accountable to youth and the local communities they are proposing to serve. The Community Accountable Fund will award a three-year grant in the amount of $75,000 per year to three eligible organization. This is a community nomination based fund.

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply, your organization should:Be Baltimore City-based and serve children and youth ages 24 years and under; Be a Maryland 501(c)(3) organization or have a confirmed Fiscal Sponsorship; Have an organizational budget of $350,000 – $500,000; Have been in existence for at least one year; Have at least one year of experience running youth programs; And have 51% Baltimore City residents as its employees.

Ineligibility

Please note that CURRENT BCYF Grantees are ineligible to apply, unless your grant term ends on the specified date.We do not provide unrestricted funding. BCYF funds can only be used to support programming that is Baltimore-based and youth-centered.
