Baylor Oral Health Foundation Centennial Award

Purpose: Presented annually to outstanding dental and dental hygiene students at Texas A&M College of Dentistry.

Geographic Scope: Texas A&M College of Dentistry, Dallas, TX

Background: Established in 2005 in commemoration of Baylor College of Dentistry's Centennial Anniversary.

Eligibility:

  • Outstanding Texas A&M College of Dentistry dental student (D.D.S.)

  • Outstanding dental hygiene student (R.D.H.)

  • Must be in good academic standing
  • Award Includes:

  • Significant cash award

  • Certificate commemorating student's accomplishments

  • Notation of award on student's transcript

  • Inclusion of student's name and year of graduation on permanent plaque displayed at the College

  • Presentation at Commencement by Foundation officer or Board member
  • Selection Criteria:

  • Professionalism

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities in the College and/or community

  • Outstanding clinical and patient management skills

  • Promotion of dentistry through professional service at the College and/or community
