Barbara Calick and Deborah Levy Scholarship Fund of DJCF Grant

Created in memory of Barbara K. Calick and expanded through a bequest from Deborah L. Levy, Ph.D., this fund honors their legacies by providing financial support to students, ensuring they have the resources necessary to achieve their educational and career goals.

The Barbara Calick and Deborah Levy Scholarship Fund, established in 2005, provides two awards to support local students pursuing technical or trade training as well as undergraduate or graduate education. Originally created by Hilma B. Levy (obm) and Walter J. Levy in loving memory of their daughter Barbara K. Calick (obm), the fund was later expanded through a bequest from their daughter Deborah L. Levy, Ph.D. (obm). The scholarship honors both women’s legacies by helping students access the education and workforce training needed to build successful futures.
