BAE Systems: Community investment Grants

BAE Systems offers community investment grants aimed at enhancing the well-being of military families and supporting future workforce development in STEM fields. As a U.S. subsidiary of a global defense and aerospace leader, they require applicants to be recognized 501(c) organizations. Eligibility

Organizations applying for charitable support from BAE Systems Inc. must be a U.S. based 501(c) charitable organization in current standing with the IRS.Grant applications above $10,000 require a current audited financial statement or financial review. Charitable Organizations must demonstrate a Charity Navigator (or equivalent) 3-star or above rating. If your organization is unrated, you will be asked to provide insight into the health of your organization. Charitable Organizations should operate in the mission areas of supporting our military, their families and veterans or education, with a specific focus on the future workforce and the engagement of young people in science, engineering, technology and math (STEM).

Ineligibility

We do not support these types of organizations: Organizations whose values are inconsistent with our cultural principals and policies Organizations that discriminate based on sex, gender, race, ethnicity, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, disability or any legally protected status in their hiring or in the execution of their programs Political candidates or organizations and For-profit businessesWe do not support these types of request/activities: Capital campaignsMemorials Endowments Scholarships fellowships, loans and grants to individuals or families Individual schools or programs serving schools Athletic events and teams
