Host communities required to match or exceed US Ignite's $20,000

Minimum $34,000 of combined sponsorship funding must go to developer teams for application development

Host Community Requirements:
Hosts are required to:
1. Engage local companies, foundations, or other organizations to match or exceed US Ignite's $20,000 sponsorship
2. Pitch challenges to entrepreneurs at the event
3. Ensure that at least $34,000 of combined sponsorship funding goes to developer teams for application development
4. Work with co-sponsors and US Ignite to develop compelling pitch
5. Recruit entrepreneurs/developers capable of building advanced applications
6. Orient teams and distribute advance materials describing challenges
7. Create final report summarizing successes, winning applications, and best practices learned
