Attica Prison Visit Program

Background: Established in 1994, the RFC's Prison Visit Program enables children and grandchildren of political prisoners to visit their incarcerated parents and grandparents. The program was renamed the Attica Fund in 2001 to honor the struggle for justice by victims of the 1971 Attica State Prison uprising.

Named Fund Component: The Harry Flemming Fund was established in 2019 as a dedicated endowment within the Attica Program. It supports an annual grant of up to $2,000 to allow children or grandchildren of political prisoners to visit their loved ones.
