Atkinson Community Foundation Fund The Atkinson Community Foundation is dedicated to the improvement and long-term viability of the Atkinson community. A permanent endowment fund has been established, through which only the annual earnings are used for projects. As the endowment grows, so will our quality of life for families today and future generations. A volunteer Fund Advisory Committee works actively to increase charitable giving and award grants to worthwhile organizations that are addressing the emerging needs and future opportunities in our community. Vision Atkinson is a thriving community that inspires multigenerational leadership and opportunity through its values, work ethic and recognition of its past. Mission To engage and invite the people of Atkinson to elevate the community through financial generosity and leadership. The Atkinson Community Foundation Fund enhances the quality of life and helps create new opportunities in the Atkinson area by: Supporting and strengthening local nonprofit organizationsProviding innovative ways for donors to benefit their communityIdentifying needs and making grants in our communityParticipating in partnerships with other community groups
