Overview

Athletes for Animals provides funding to animal welfare organizations that meet our criteria and are chosen through a semi-annual grant process.  We operate on a 18 month cycle. Organizations must wait two full grant cycles before re-applying.

Eligibility

Must be a non-profit organization with proof of 501(c)3 status or a pending application for exemption with the IRS.Organization must be based in United States or Canada.All adoptable animals must be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.Our grant funding is designated for adoptable companion animals (canines & felines) only.

Ineligibility

A4A does not fund organizations for general operating expenses, start-up costs, fundraising campaigns, building expenses or extraordinary veterinary procedures. *Please include an average cost per animal for spay, neuter and TNR programs.A4A does not fund individual private family cases.
