Association of American Educators Foundation: National Teacher Scholarship Grant

The Association of American Educators Foundation offers the National Teacher Scholarship to promote professional excellence among educators. This scholarship provides funding for various professional development opportunities, including conferences and learning materials, with awards up to $500. Available to full-time educators who haven't received AAE funding in the last two years, the scholarship aims to enhance the quality of education across the nation while supporting educators' growth and collaboration.

Background
The Association of American Educators Foundation (AAEF) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that provides teachers and leaders with opportunities, information, and funds to reform and improve the education of America’s youth. AAEF was established to support the activities and mission of the Association of American Educators (AAE)—the largest national, nonunion, professional educator organization, advancing the profession by offering a modern approach to educator empowerment and advocacy—promoting professionalism, collaboration, and excellence without a partisan agenda. AAE is committed to a teaching profession that is student oriented, well respected, and personally fulfilling. AAE serves members in all fifty states and welcomes professionals from all education entities. Membership includes $2 million professional liability insurance, employment rights coverage, professional resources, and many other benefits.
The AAE Foundation National Teacher Scholarship was established to encourage professional excellence for all educators and has awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars to educators across the country through a competitive biannual selection process.
Teacher scholarships can be used for a wide variety of professional development opportunities and workshops. These include conferences, inservices, workshops, certifications and materials for PLCs. The scholarship will cover all associated costs up to $500 with attending these events or obtaining these materials.

Eligibility

Teacher scholarships are available to all full-time educators who have not received a scholarship or grant from AAE in the past two years.

Ineligibility

Teacher scholarships do not cover classes or materials in pursuit of a graduate degree (Masters and/or Doctorate).
