The Ashland County Farm Bureau Scholarship supports high school seniors and college students from Ashland County pursuing degrees in agriculture. Established in partnership with the Ashland County Community Foundation, the scholarship emphasizes academic excellence, requiring a minimum GPA of 2.5. This initiative reflects the Farm Bureau's long-standing commitment to empowering youth interested in agriculture, ensuring they have the financial resources to further their education and contribute to the agricultural community.

We pool resources from community members, invest them and then use them to make grants for the betterment of the entire community. Nonprofit organizations receive grants from community foundations to support their programs and projects.
Ashland County Farm Bureau was started in 1918 in an effort to seek solutions to problems that affect the social and economic well-being of farmers. Since its formation, Ashland County Farm Bureau’s focus has remained on grassroots input from local members on issues relating to agriculture. One long-standing priority of the Ashland County Farm Bureau is to support youth with interest and involvement in agriculture by offering scholarships. The Ashland County Farm Bureau appreciates the opportunity to partner with the Ashland County Community Foundation in disseminating these scholarships.
