Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies Established in 1948, the Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies (ASEEES) – a nonprofit, non-political, scholarly society – is the leading international organization dedicated to the advancement of knowledge about Central Asia, the Caucasus, Russia, and Eastern Europe in regional and global contexts. ASEEES First Book Subvention Program The ASEEES First Book Subvention Program provides multiple awards of up to $2500 for subvention of books by first-time authors on a biannual basis. Funds can be used for copy editing, design/composition/typesetting, e-book conversion, image preparation, printing, and other direct costs. Applications are invited from all disciplines. Applications should be submitted by publishers only—not by authors.Eligibility
