Overview: ArtsImpact grants support cross-sector partnerships that leverage the creativity of the arts community by funding unique projects that address community challenges and improve individual and overall well-being. The program was created through a strategic assessment conducted in 2022 to better deliver on the organization's objectives.

• Arts & Education: Project-based funding supporting educational partnerships and student engagement
• Arts & Well-Being: Projects promoting physical, cognitive, social, and mental health benefits through arts programming

Eligibility Requirements

• Applicant Type: Individuals, groups, businesses, or organizations (including artists)
• Partnership Requirement: Must partner with a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization with a principal office in Stark County
• Project Focus: Must support cross-sector partnerships in one of the three priority areas (education, well-being, or regional vitality)
• Geographic Focus: Stark County residents and organizations

Award Amounts

• FY2026 awards ranged from $2,500 to $7,500
• FY2027 applications will award grants of $2,500 - $7,500
• Total FY2026 program funding: $104,327
• Total FY2025 program funding: $103,453

Project Timeline

• FY2027 projects will take place between July 1, 2026 and June 30, 2027
• FY2026 projects took place between July 1, 2025 and June 30, 2026

Applicants are evaluated by a panel of arts and community leaders based on:
• Impact on Stark County
• Alignment with strategic priorities
• Accountability
• Clarity of proposal
