Arts Scholarship

Funder: The Cultural Foundation of Harrison County, WV

Purpose: The Cultural Foundation of Harrison County is funding two Arts Scholarships to recognize outstanding student potential in the arts and identify well-rounded students who exhibit exceptional qualities and potential to become leaders in an arts-driven career field.

Award Amount: $1,000 per scholarship annually, renewable for up to four years if student remains enrolled full-time and in good standing

Geographic Scope: Harrison County, WV

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Student must be a resident of Harrison County, WV

  • Student must be a 2026 graduating senior from a Harrison County High School

  • Student must demonstrate scholastic achievement and arts-related activities

  • Student must be enrolled full-time (minimum 12 credit hours) in a university, college, or certificate program for Fall 2026

  • Student must declare a major in arts, music, performance, or related discipline

  • Student must agree to engage with The Cultural Foundation during each year of scholarship receipt (performance/display at Annual Meeting in January, Artist After Hours event, or monthly meeting)
