Geographic Scope: Bergen County, NJ

Mission: The 200 Club has supported Bergen County's Fire, Police, and EMS departments through the Appropriations Program for more than 30 years.

Focus Areas: Equipment purchases and program development for first responders, including:

• Life safety equipment for fire departments (thermal imaging cameras, fire curtains, jacks, stabilization systems)
• Medical equipment for ambulance corps (vital signs monitors)
• Police department programs (Junior Police Academy)
• Communications upgrades for police and emergency medical services

Funding Track Record:

• Over $1 million awarded in grant money to date
• Supports equipment and programs to enable Bergen County First Responders to perform their jobs more safely and efficiently

• Westwood Volunteer Ambulance Corps: Matching grant for Vital Signs Monitor
• Township of Washington Volunteer Fire Department: Full funding for Jack Stabilization System and Crash Bag kit
• Northvale Police Department: Start-up funding for Junior Police Academy
• Teaneck Police Department: Matching grant for radio communications upgrades
• Hackensack Fire Department: Grant for Fire Curtain purchase
• Lyndhurst Fire Department: Matching grant for T4 Thermal Imaging Camera
