Overview
Annual Scholarships
Purpose: Donors can establish an annual scholarship to help students attend WVU. The scholarship is awarded to qualifying students each year that the donor contributes the dollar value of the scholarship.

How to Apply
How to Establish an Annual Scholarship
1. Contact WVU Foundation Staff: Work with individual Foundation staff members
2. Make Pledge: Commit to $2,000 minimum per year for five years
3. Define Parameters: Work with Foundation staff to define awarding criteria and selection parameters
4. Sign Agreement: Complete documentation with WVU Foundation
5. Make Annual Contributions: Contribute the pledged amount each year
Pledge Options
Donors making pledges under $25,000 per year may do so through:
Reporting
- Pledge status reports will be mailed in May and November of each year for pledges ≥$50,000
- Electronic reminders will be emailed in November of each year for pledges <$50,000
