Anna H. Settle Community Leadership Award

Overview: The purpose of the Anna H. Settle Community Leadership Award is to recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to their communities as volunteer leaders.

Award Amount: $4,000 (US) - awarded to the winner's project or a service project of their choice

Eligibility Criteria - Nominees should be individuals who:

  • Have chaired a specific community service program which provided, or continues to provide, a benefit to the community

  • Have chaired an Altrusan project or program (not a fundraiser) - may have chaired a project sponsored in cooperation with another civic or charitable organization

  • Live or work in the community of the nominating Altrusa Club

  • Are true volunteers, not paid staff members

  • Do not have to be Altrusa members

    • Nomination Details:

  • Only one (1) nomination per Altrusa Club

  • Must be nominated by an Altrusa Club

    • Recognition:

  • Award presented at the International Convention

  • Monetary prize given to winner's project or project of their choice
