Overview
The Ann B. Zekauskas Family Foundation is a family-directed philanthropic organization established through the estate of Ann B. Zekauskas. It is accepting applications from qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofits for grants to be awarded in 2027.
The Foundation funds organizations whose principal work falls in one or more of three areas of giving: nutrition education, improving access to food, and advancing careers in the culinary arts.
In nutrition education, it works with schools, community groups and similar organizations across the country on programs that encourage a lifelong practice of healthy eating. In food access, it supports food banks, community kitchens and other hunger relief organizations. In culinary arts careers, it gives to high schools, colleges, professional education programs and scholarship organizations.
All applications must be submitted by November 1, 2026 for consideration of grant awards in 2027. The Foundation does not publish an award range; applicants state the amount they are requesting.
