Overview

The pre-application letter is not an optional step; please do not send a full proposal.  Due to the volume of requests and budgetary limitations, we unfortunately have to decline most submissions. If we decide to move forward with your organization's proposal, we will contact you for more information within twelve weeks. We are not able to provide updates or feedback on initial submissions. The Anderson-Rogers Foundation is a small family foundation created in 2001 by the descendants of John G. and Sallie Haynes Anderson and Charles H. and Bertha Harper Rogers. Initial funding was provided by Porter W. Anderson, Jr., whose co-invention of a widely administered vaccine for bacterial meningitis brought him wealth too late in life to enjoy squandering it. The Foundation is particularly interested in funding programs in the following areas: Environmental protection, including programs to preserve and     restore habitat and protect endangered animals.Animal WelfareClimate change mitigation​Promotion and implementation of environmentally sound agricultural practices and food systems; food security.Social support programs and community building.
