Volunteer NH Volunteer NH (VNH) is a nonprofit organization that envisions our state as a place where people volunteer together to build strong and connected communities. We bring our vision to life by engaging those communities to solve local challenges through volunteerism. Competitive Grants Volunteer NH runs a competition for applicants wishing to run full AmeriCorps programs. After reviewing the applications, Volunteer NH then submits them to the federal agency for a final funding decisions. AmeriCorps Competitive programs are funded for three years at a time. Only applicants with prior AmeriCorps experience are allowed to apply to Volunteer NH.
