Alum Scholarship

Status: Active scholarship program for graduate students

Geographic Scope: United States (Brandeis University, Waltham, MA)

Eligibility:

  • Category 1: Brandeis alumni who completed a Brandeis program and have been admitted into most full-time Master's programs

  • Category 2: Current Brandeis undergraduate students who will complete their degree by the time they start a Master's program

  • Must be enrolled in Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GSAS) programs

  • Must maintain a minimum of two semesters in residency in a GSAS program

  • Students admitted to any Hornstein program are NOT eligible

  • Four-year bachelor's/master's students are NOT eligible for this scholarship

  • NOT available to students awarded scholarships that cover 100% of tuition
  • Programs: Most GSAS Master's programs are eligible

    Not Eligible For:

  • Heller School programs

  • Brandeis International Business School

  • Rabb Graduate Professional Studies
  • Award Details:

  • Up to $2,000 scholarship

  • May be in addition to merit or need-based aid (depending on program)

    1. Select your affiliation(s) on the "Additional Information" page of your graduate application:
    - Mark if you are a Brandeis alum
    - Mark if you are a current Brandeis student
    2. Submit your application for a Master's program
    3. Application Fee Waiver: Current Brandeis students and alums receive an automatic application fee waiver when applying for a graduate program in GSAS via the online application

    Note: The scholarship is automatically considered upon admission to an eligible GSAS Master's program.
