All Kids Play: Youth Sports Grant - Organization

The All Kids Play: Youth Sports Grant aims to support families and community-based organizations in low-income areas, ensuring access to recreational sports for children in grades K-12. This grant assists those who struggle to afford youth sports, providing essential funding on a first-come, first-served basis. Eligible organizations must demonstrate budget constraints and operate in areas with high low-income student percentages, promoting inclusivity in youth sports participation.

Letter of Inquiry - This deadline represents the first step which is to fill out a contact form by clicking on Apply For An Organization Grant.Full Proposal - Invite Only - If the initial evaluation indicates you are a potential candidate for a grant, we will then send you a grant application, which will also include requirements for income verification documents. You will submit the application to our Programs team, and they will review the application.
However, we recognize the rising cost of youth sports has left some families and communities behind.
All Kids Play provides funding to families and communities who lack the resources to pay for youth sports. Grants are available to qualifying families with kids in grade K-12 and not-for-profit community-based recreational sports organizations in low income areas on a need and first-come, first served basis as funds are available.

Eligibility

We provide organizational grants for non-profit organizations in low income communities that provide community-based recreational level sports for kids in grades K-12 on a case-by-case basis.To qualify for an organizational grant, your organization must be a non-profit organization, school sports program, or government-run program (i.e. community park district) in a low income community that provides community-based recreational level or school sports for kids in grades K-12. You must provide proof of budget constraints, and you must operate in an area in which the local school district has a higher percentage of low income students than the state average or the average household income in the community is lower than 60% of the estimated state median income by household size based on the most recent data from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program.For more information on income guidelines, please visit the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Low Income Home Energy Assistance ProgramState Median Income by Household Page.

Ineligibility

We do not fund travel, elite, or AAU sports or training programs at the organizational level.
