Program Details:
The Alabama Nurses Foundation now offers community grants to support innovative health initiatives across Alabama. This represents an expansion of ANF's funding programs beyond scholarships.

Recent Funded Projects:

• Hands-Only CPR Training Initiative (2025): ANF funded grants to Church Nurses and the Nurses Corner and Chi Eta Phi (a national nursing sorority) to provide CPR training across the state. The initiative operates at 15 total training sites throughout Alabama with a goal of training at least 1,000 people per site by end of June. Partnership with American Red Cross chapters required.

• Projects initiated by nurses
• Initiatives with direct, meaningful impact on community health and well-being
• Organizations working with nurses and nursing leadership

Funding Source:
Funded through sales of "Nurses Save Lives" specialty auto license tags and individual donations.
