Overview

NOTE: All applications more than $10,000 will be considered as a loan. Agriculture Enhancement and Diversification Program The Agriculture Enhancement and Diversification Program was designed to develop or improve uses for agricultural products, expand the state’s production of value-added products and to encourage diversified farming. The program provides funds in the form of grants or 0% interest loans. Proposals must clearly demonstrate the ability to directly benefit Oklahoma farmers and ranchers through the creation of new revenue streams. Product Development and Research Grant or Loan Projects should create or expand agricultural business through research including, but not limited to projects such as, feasibility studies, test marketing costs, and product development. Proposals must demonstrate how the proposed research will lead to a marketable product and show there is no similar research on the proposed product. Proposals for a product development and research grant or loan shall: Show there is no similar research on the proposed product; and Demonstrate how the proposed research will lead to a marketable product

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and shall reside and be a legal resident of Oklahoma.Grants and loans are available at the following levels:  $2,500 or less: No match required $2,501 - $5,000: 25% match required, can be dollar-for-dollar or in-kind match $5,001 - $10,000: A dollar-for-dollar cash match $10,001 or above: All applications in excess of $10,000 will be considered as a loan

Projects should not be for growing or any other aspect of marijuana.
