Ag Health and Safety Grants

The Ag Health and Safety Grants, awarded by CHS and the CHS Foundation, aim to enhance agricultural safety and foster community well-being. These grants focus on educating youth and farmers about agricultural hazards, providing training for rural professionals, and developing essential safety guidelines. With a commitment to improving safety standards, the program has benefitted over 32,000 youth and supported more than 450 communities through safety initiatives and equipment, ensuring a safer future for all involved in agriculture.

CHS puts the safety and well-being of people, customers and communities first every day. As part of that effort, the CHS Foundation proudly funds initiatives that provide training, equipment and industry expertise to help protect farm families and rural communities.
CHS Community Giving will consider ag health and safety projects that:
Educate youth and producers about dangers associated with working in agriculture.Develop safety guidelines for use on farms or agribusinesses.Support the health and well being of farmers and ranchers.

Eligibility

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year.Ag safety and health initiatives that have a national approach or reach multiple states in the CHS geography will be considered. (Ag health and safety projects at the local level will only be accepted through the CHS Seeds for Stewardship cooperative matching grants program found here).
