Overview: AFSCME Free College offers a permanent free bachelor's degree completion program through Central State University (CSU) in Ohio. Students can earn a bachelor's degree entirely online at no cost.

    Eligibility

  • AFSCME union members
  • Retirees of AFSCME members
  • Family members of union members (including children, spouses, siblings, and others)
  • Must have earned an associate degree or 60+ college credits with a minimum 2.2 GPA

    Degree Options

    Five bachelor's degree completion options available through CSU:
  • Business Administration
  • Early Childhood Education
  • Education Intervention Specialist
  • Criminal Justice
  • Interdisciplinary Studies/Humanities (for those with previous college credit in various subject areas)

  • Over 20,000 people have completed associate degrees
  • Study areas include: social work, accounting, criminal justice, and more

    Additional Certificate Option

    EGCC's business management degree students can earn specialized certificates in:
  • Finance
  • Hospitality
  • Cyber Security
  • Health Care Management
  • Other in-demand fields (earned after 4 specialized courses)
