Audio Engineering Society Educational Foundation The Audio Engineering Society Educational Foundation is dedicated to encouraging the entry of talented students into the profession of audio engineering. Since its establishment in 1984, the Foundation has awarded grants for graduate studies to hundreds of exceptional applicants, many of whom have gone on to prominent and successful careers in the profession. Graduate Studies in Audio Grants - L-Acoustics Dr. Christian Heil Future of Sound Scholarship L-Acoustics Dr. Christian Heil Future of Sound Scholarship Recipients should demonstrate curiosity and dedication to shaping the future of sound, including with approaches that may question conventions or call upon bodies of scientific knowledge outside of the realm of audio. Founded in 1984, L-Acoustics can trace its beginning to 1977, when particle physics scientist Christian Heil attended a Pink Floyd concert and was inspired to serve the live events industry by creating and developing pragmatic solutions for sound professionals. Funding Graduate studies grants are generally in the two to five thousand dollar range. Payment will be sent directly to the graduate school on behalf of the student’s tuition account

Eligibility
