AdvaMed® Imaging Röntgen Award

Overview: Recognizes an individual who has made a significant contribution to the medical imaging industry. Named for Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen, the father of medical imaging, this award celebrates pioneers and leaders within the Medical Imaging industry and AdvaMed® Imaging Division.

Award Type: Honor/Recognition Award

Eligibility: Mid-level and senior medical imaging company employees and industry leaders

Judging Criteria:

  • Significant service by a mid-level medical imaging company employee that has deeply impacted the broader medical imaging industry

  • Significant voluntary role in advocating for and promoting the growth and development of medical imaging

  • Actions that have had a substantial impact on advancing medical imaging

  • Championing medical imaging and improving the environment that fosters the introduction of new imaging technologies

    • Award Presentation: Announced in summer 2026 and presented in conjunction with The MedTech Conference (October 18-21, 2026 in Boston, MA)
