Overview

ADEAGies Foundation Grant The ADEAGies Foundation®—the philanthropic arm of the American Dental Education Association (ADEA)—is committed to improving oral health of the public and advancing innovations in the profession of dentistry by ensuring a robust future faculty and supporting the development of leaders in academic dentistry. To that end, the Foundation provides grant funding for research, programs and special initiatives that support dental, allied dental and advanced dental programs, as well as related organizations. The Foundation Grant Program is an annual small grants program (usually $10,000–$50,000). Foundation grants are funded through the general fund of the ADEAGies Foundation (the Foundation). Annually, the ADEAGies Board of Trustees meets in March during the ADEA Annual Session & Exhibition to determine the total amount of funding available for the upcoming fiscal year. This amount is considered when determining funding levels for each grant. The Foundation seeks to fund as many projects as possible, which may naturally limit the amount of funding available for each proposal. In general, the Foundation prefers to fully fund proposals. However, some proposals may merit partial funding. The Board of Trustees reserves the right to make such decisions. Foundation grants will be awarded to organizations/institutions on an annual basis.
