Acts Samaritan Fund

Purpose: Helps relieve the financial burden when residents experience unexpected dissipation of personal resources, making it difficult or impossible to meet the total cost of care.

Who It Serves: Acts residents in financial need

How It Works:

When community-specific benevolent assistance funds (known as Samaritan, Benevolence and Heritage Funds) are insufficient, the Acts Samaritan Fund supplements the community in meeting their benevolent resident assistance financial needs

Each year, the fund helps members of the Acts family in every Acts community, ensuring them the security to stay in the homes they've come to love

Geographic Scope: All Acts Retirement-Life Communities across 9 states (Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina)

Community-Specific Funds: Each community also maintains its own Samaritan Fund as a resident benevolent assistance fund
