Acts Samaritan Fund

Purpose: Helps relieve the financial burden when residents experience unexpected dissipation of personal resources, making it difficult or impossible to meet the total cost of care.

Who It Serves: Acts residents in financial need

How It Works:

• When community-specific benevolent assistance funds (known as Samaritan, Benevolence and Heritage Funds) are insufficient, the Acts Samaritan Fund supplements the community in meeting their benevolent resident assistance financial needs
• Each year, the fund helps members of the Acts family in every Acts community, ensuring them the security to stay in the homes they've come to love

Geographic Scope: All Acts Retirement-Life Communities across 9 states (Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina)

Community-Specific Funds: Each community also maintains its own Samaritan Fund as a resident benevolent assistance fund
