Activate Snohomish Community Grant Program - Track B: Small Business Grants

Geographic Scope: Snohomish County, Washington, USA

Focus Areas: Support for small business readiness and engagement ahead of FIFA World Cup 26 Seattle™. Priority given to businesses in hospitality, retail, dining, tourism, and event services sectors. Eligible uses include:

• Physical improvements (awnings, paint, signage)
• Marketing and FIFA-themed promotions
• Temporary staffing costs
• Hosting expenses for match-related events

Eligible Applicants: Small businesses located within Snohomish County

Funding Available: Up to $50,000 total across Track B (10-30 awards estimated)

Background: Funded by the Seattle Foundation with support from the Washington State Department of Commerce. Administered by EASC in its role as the designated small business liaison to the Snohomish Local Organizing Committee for FIFA World Cup 26 Seattle™. The 2026 FIFA World Cup is expected to bring significant international visitors to the Pacific Northwest, with Snohomish County positioned along the main travel corridor between Seattle and Vancouver, BC.

1. Eligibility Requirements:
   • Located in Snohomish County
   • Activities funded by the grant will take place in Snohomish County
   • Have a valid business license
   • Not a government agency requesting funds for unrelated staffing or capital projects
   • Not under investigation for misuse of funds or fraud
2. Application Timeline:
   • Applications opened: October 1, 2025
   • Application deadline: December 1, 2025
   • Award notifications: January 19, 2026
