Background The Bigglesworth Family Foundation supports programs and projects that help create systemic change by strengthening the capacity of non-profit organizations and addressing delivery system and historic challenges. We are especially inspired by programs that have the potential for sector-wide impact. Working together with funder and grantee partners in legal services and technology, we strive to make impactful change that enhances access to underserved and underrepresented communities. Through these strategies we endeavor to help break the cycle of poverty. Access Grants Access grants strengthen an organization’s ability to effectively deliver services to their clients. Ranging from $1,000 - $3,500, these grants facilitate access to tools, programs and resources that otherwise might be outside of the scope of the organization’s reach. In an effort to be responsive to the needs of our grantees, Access grants have a streamlined application and are reviewed within 30 days of the date the application is submitted. Organizations are limited to no more than two Access grant applications annually, funding totaling no more than $5,000 in a calendar year. These grants are limited to organizations whose work closely align with our primary funding area, Legal Services. Applications from organizations that fall outside this focus area will not be considered.
