Award Amount: $10,000 (matched by NYU for total of $20,000)
Purpose: Support tuition costs for one graduate student pursuing a master's degree in Irish and Irish-American Studies from New York University through NYU's Glucksman Ireland House (GIH).
- Must apply for admission to NYU's Graduate School of Arts and Sciences
- Academic year beginning fall 2026
- Undergraduate concentration in History, Political Science, or Sociology
- Focus required: Social justice, political, or cultural relationships between African Americans and Ireland; OR historic relationship between Ireland and Africa; OR Irish and African diasporas
- Encouraged: Students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs)
- Open to all students in specified fields
