Overview

NOTE: Grant applications are received throughout the year. Physician Assistance Program Through this program, grants are awarded to family physicians who have undergone uninsured losses to their medical practices and/or who need help to get their practices up and running again in a time of crisis related to a natural disaster (e.g. hurricane, earthquake, tornado, flooding). Grants are awarded to assist in the repair and rebuilding process for family physicians that have suffered a financial loss to their medicial practice. AAFP members can also donate funds to help their colleagues who have been impacted by a disaster through this program. Funding Grant amounts range up to $2,000 and will be reviewed and approved by the AAFP Foundation Board of Trustees.
