AAAP Foundation: Poultry Scholarship Grant

The AAAP Foundation: Poultry Scholarship supports students pursuing careers in poultry health and food safety in North America. Offered by the American Association of Avian Pathologists, the scholarship aims to enhance scientific knowledge and promote the well-being of poultry. Eligible candidates must be enrolled in accredited veterinary colleges or universities with relevant programs. Scholarships may reach up to $1,500, with undergraduate awards capped at $500, fostering the next generation of poultry medicine professionals.

Through the AAAP Foundation, scholarships and awards are given each year to support those who are striving for careers in poultry medicine and acknowledge outstanding achievement in the area of poultry medicine.
Introduction
The American Association of Avian Pathologists Foundation Scholarship Program accepts scholarship applications from students who are pursuing a career in poultry health and well-being and/or food safety in North America. Eligible students should attend a veterinary college accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association, or an accredited undergraduate university.
Funding
Scholarships will not exceed $1,500. Undergraduate scholarships will not exceed $500.

Eligibility

Students must meet one of the following educational criteria to be considered:Enrollment in a university undergraduate curriculum involving avian science, poultry science, food science, animal science, biology, or equivalent with the intent to pursue a MS, PhD, or veterinary degree with a focus on poultry health and well-being and/or food safety, OR
Enrollment in a veterinary college or graduate school leading to a DVM or VMD degree focused on poultry health and well-being and/or food safety.
