Overview

4+1 Accelerated Master's Degree Program

Overview: An accelerated degree program allowing qualified Clark University undergraduates to earn a master's degree in their fifth year with potential tuition scholarship support.

Geographic Scope: Clark University, Worcester, MA

Eligibility - Clark First-Year Students:

  • Must be a full-time undergraduate student for a minimum of 24 academic units at Clark

  • Meet the entry requirements of chosen graduate program

  • Achieve a cumulative 3.40 GPA (MBA and MS in GIS require 3.6 cumulative GPA)

  • Apply by April 15 of junior year (or November 1 if second semester of junior year is in fall)

  • Maintain overall GPA standing in senior year
  • Eligibility - Clark Transfer Students:

  • Undergraduate transfer students eligible for tuition scholarships during their fifth year of study

  • 100% tuition remission: 24 or greater units at Clark

  • 50% tuition remission: 23.5 units or fewer at Clark

  • Must meet entry requirements of chosen graduate program

  • Achieve cumulative 3.40 GPA (or higher if required by department)

  • Apply by April 15 of junior year (or November 1 if applicable)

  • Maintain overall GPA standing in senior year
  • Costs:

  • One-time $1,250 program fee in first semester of graduate study (covers career services, advising support, program support)

  • Individual course fees may apply

  • One-time graduate orientation fee upon admission to graduate school

  • Other relevant fees at school or program level
  • Notes:

  • Tuition scholarships for qualified students may vary between programs

  • Dependent on time student has attended Clark as full-time student

  • Individual departments may have additional requirements
