WXIA TV11 Community Service Scholarship The WXIA TV11 Community Service Scholarship is for residents of Atlanta, Georgia who are College Freshman at Clark Atlanta, Spelman, Morehouse, or Morris Brown. Eligible applicants must be majoring in English, Communications, Journalism or related fields. The WXIA TV11 Community Service Scholarship was established by WXIA-TV, a television station licensed to Atlanta, Georgia, in partnership with UNCF, to provide need based scholarships to students and recognize those who exemplify outstanding achievement in community services during their high school years.

Applicants for the WXIA TV11 Community Service Scholarship program must meet the following eligibility requirements: Students must be a college freshman enrolled full time in one of the Atlanta University Center schools (Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College, Spelman College or Morris Brown College) during the 2025-2026 academic year.Students must possess a minimum cumulative 2.50 GPA on a 4.0 scale (based on your final high school transcript)Students must be majoring in one of the following academic disciplines: English, Communication, Journalism or related fieldsStudents must be residents of Atlanta, GAStudents must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)Students must have a demonstrated, unmet, financial need as verified by their college or university
