Workforce Safety Innovation Grant

The Workforce Safety Innovation Grant, offering $30 million in funding through the Workforce Safety Innovation Center® (WSIC), is now open for applications! This funding supports research and development of innovations in personal protective equipment (PPE) and personal protective technology (PPT) to improve workplace safety in Ohio.

Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants must be from an Ohio-based non-profit higher education institution or standalone research organization.

Application Process:
To meet the requirements of the Workforce Safety Innovation Grant Application, eligible agencies must submit a Notice of Intent to Apply for Funding (NOIAF) (Form WSIC-1) along with a project abstract and all supplemental documentation by 5 p.m. ET, Dec. 13, 2024. Send these materials to BWCWSIC@bwc.ohio.gov. After the NOIAF (WSIC-1) is approved, agencies will receive initial authorization for internet submission.
