Wisconsin Garden Club Federation Della H. Balousek Scholarship Background: Della Balousek was a hard-working, fun loving and talented garden club member with a very positive attitude toward both progress and education. She was an allaround talented Garden Club member with a very positive attitude toward both progress and education. Her strong leadership tempered with hard work and “fun” accomplished insurmountable tasks! Della lovingly and happily supported all aspects of the Wisconsin Garden Club Federation, and her fellow members of the Olbrich Garden Club in Madison felt that no one could ever follow in her footsteps. Della made sure that when she passed away her legacy would be carried on with this endowed scholarship fund. Award Amount: Three $3,000 non-renewable scholarship awards for tuition expenses, payable in the fall semester. Loss of Eligibility: Failure to register as full-time student with an acceptable major at a Wisconsin school.
