Overview

Volunteer of the Year Award

Purpose: Recognizes and honors an outstanding individual who is volunteering their time and talent to the benefit of Bouvier des Flandres and the American Bouvier des Flandres Club.

Eligibility:

  • Must be a current member in good standing of ABdFC

  • Must be making or have made a significant contribution to the Bouvier community

  • Must demonstrate commitment, service, creativity, cooperation and leadership in volunteer role(s)

  • Definition of volunteering: Contributing talents, energy and skills to help the breed and/or ABdFC, demonstrating initiative in taking on a volunteer role that demands significant unpaid hours over a significant period of time

    • Award: Recognition as award honoree

    Announcement: The award honoree is announced at the Annual Awards Banquet held each year at the National Specialty.
