Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI)

Part of the Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP), UASI provides funding to urban areas and local governments to prevent, protect against, mitigate, respond to and recover from potential terrorist attacks and other hazards. Supports core capabilities including personnel, planning, organization, equipment purchases, training and exercises, and management/administration costs.
