Overview
Trillium Heritage Awards
Funder: Shoreline Historical Museum
Purpose: To recognize outstanding examples of historic architecture in the communities of Lake Forest Park, North Seattle, and Shoreline. The award raises awareness of the community's past and encourages excellence in maintenance and perpetuation of historic buildings in accordance with their original style.

Geographic Scope
- Building/property with an address in one of the three eligible communities
- Must have been built prior to December 31, 1940
- Must be maintained in accordance with its original style
- Can be anything from modest homes to commercial structures
- Property owner signature required on nomination form
Eligibility Criteria
- Three awards total — one in each of the three cities
- Recipients receive a certificate and plaque suitable for display on the outside of the building
- Awards presented at the Museum's Annual Meeting in November

2. Complete the nomination form with all required information
3. Obtain property owner signature(s) — valid nominations must include the signature of property owner(s)
4. Submit by August 31 of the award year
5. Award Presentation — Recipients are announced and honored at the Museum's Annual Meeting in November
