Teacher To Be Scholarship

Geographic Scope: Marion County Public Schools, Florida

Eligibility:

  • Current Marion County Public Schools non-instructional employees

  • Minimum of 2 years of district employment

  • Currently enrolled in college/university

  • Possess an AA/AS degree or approximately 60 college credits

  • Goal of becoming a classroom teacher

  • Plan to teach in Marion County Public Schools after graduation
  • Award Amount: $500 per semester for a maximum of five semesters toward completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Education (or minor in Education)

    Purpose: Encourage and support outstanding MCPS employees who desire to become classroom teachers
