Overview
Provides funding to state, local, and tribal units of government for projects that increase resilience to cybersecurity threats. Funding provided in four distinct cycles with cost sharing requirements of 30% (cycles 1-2) and 40% (cycles 3-4). Eligible uses include multifactor authentication (MFA), managed detection and response (MDR), endpoint detection and response (EDR), extended detection and response (XDR), internet edge security, migration to .gov domain, vulnerability management, immutable cloud backups, security awareness training, and penetration testing. Funded by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
