Overview: A night of comedy & industry networking at Trilith Institute, presented live from the Town Stage @ Trilith Studios. Trilith Institute invites comedy sketch writers and short filmmakers to submit their work for consideration.

Status: Open for submissions; deadline June 7, 2026

Geographic Scope: Open (submissions from anywhere); event held in Georgia

Focus Areas: Comedy sketches and short comedy films

What We're Looking For

For Comedy Sketches:

Sketch script length: no longer than 6 pages (not including title page)

Maximum 4 characters & 1 location/setting

Performance length: 3-5 minutes

Content: age appropriate for all ages (equivalent of a PG rating)

For Comedy Short Films:

Be funny!

Maximum length: 5 minutes

Content: age appropriate for all ages (equivalent of a PG rating)

Selection and Awards

• 4 Sketches and 2 Short Films will be selected from submissions
• All winners will receive free admission to the show
• Selected sketches and short films will be performed and shown LIVE as part of the night's scheduled programming

Important Notes

• Multiple submissions are allowed but will require multiple check-outs through the payment system
• As all forms are required to check out, please put "N/A" on any forms that do not apply to your submission
