Overview
The Russian Nobility Association in America awards scholarships to qualified graduate students, undergraduate students, and high school graduates entering college through the Prince Alexis P. Scherbatow Scholarship Fund (SSF).- Contributions from members and friends of the RNAA
- A portion of profits from social activities, including the Annual Ball
- Proceeds from the RNAA lecture series
- Income from the SSF endowment

- Financial need
- Interest in Russian history, culture, literature, etc., consistent with the RNAA's mission and objectives
Selection Criteria
Scholarship recipients are selected based on:- Maintain minimum grades
- Continue their course of study
Duration
Applicants are supported with annual stipends until graduation, provided they:- Must be attending an accredited college or university as an undergraduate or graduate student
- Applicants need not be a member of the RNAA
- High school graduates entering college are also eligible

The Prince Alexis Scherbatow Scholarship Fund was established in 2002 to celebrate the life and achievements of Prince A.P. Scherbatow, who served for 31 years as President of the RNAA. Prince Scherbatow taught history and political science, earned a PhD from Columbia University, and worked for The Tolstoy Foundation assisting Russian immigrants.How to Apply

2. Complete the application (form provided upon request)
3. Submit by Deadline: May 1 annually for consideration for the school year subsequently beginning in August/September
- Properly completed application form
- Documentation of academic record
- Evidence of financial need
- Statement of interest in Russian history, culture, literature, or related topics
