Grants & Scholarships Grants power our nonprofit partners on the frontlines of pressing local issues, filling the opportunity gaps through direct-to-people programming. Scholarships support aspiring college students who hold the promise of tomorrow’s progress. Together, our competitive grants and scholarships help our region rise thanks to the vision and generosity of our donors. The Community Foundation offers both need and merit based scholarships. Peter Jay Sharp Foundation Scholarship Fund for Conservation/Environment Studies Scholarship Eligibility Graduating high school senior from public or private Palm Beach County High School pursuing an environmental related degree. Demonstrate extracurricular activities in the areas of environmental projects. Be a U.S. Citizen and must maintain a 3.0 while in college. Not based on need. The Scholarship is awarded every two years at a minimum amount of $10,000 per scholarship.
