NOTE: Deadline to submit application in JustGrants: May 7, 2026, by 8:59 p.m. Eastern Time This NOFO will fund the Title II Formula Grants program Training and Technical Assistance Center to (1) strengthen state and territory-level compliance with the Formula Grants program authorized under the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act (JJDPA) and (2) develop and implement training and technical assistance that supports the effective operation of the juvenile justice system across state, territory, Tribal, and community levels. This NOFO will support the development and implementation of three components of training and technical assistance (TTA) designed to: Assist states and units of local governments to achieve compliance with the core requirements of the JJDPA. Support state, territorial, and Tribal juvenile justice system improvement and implementation of comprehensive 3-year state plans for carrying out the Title II Formula Grants program.Develop and deliver one-on-one, custom learning opportunities to develop and replicate Title II implementation best practices, including compliance with the core requirements of the JJDPA and the statutory requirements of the grant program. OJP is committed to advancing work that furthers DOJ’s mission to uphold the rule of law, to keep our country safe, and to protect civil rights. OJP provides federal leadership, funding, and other critical resources to directly support law enforcement, combat violent crime, protect American children, provide services to American crime victims, and address public safety challenges, including human trafficking and the opioid crisis.
