NPS Grants Do not have to be repaid.Address a critical water quality need or human health concern.Can provide match for other funding sources (319 grants, SRF loans, ARDL, etc.). Pre-proposals must be submitted using the Financial Assistance Application Form. The form can be used for all project types, including on-the-ground implementation, technical assistance, and information and education. Be as specific as possible in your application. Include your ability to document project effectiveness through monitoring before, during, and after project implementation. Once your application has been received, the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) will decide which funding source, State NPS or Section 319, will be the most appropriate for your project. Upon project completion, all grants awarded by DWQ require a final report to be submitted to the State Nonpoint Source Program Coordinator.Eligibility
