NASRCC Scholarship

Program Overview: Each year, the NASRCC awards scholarships to members in good standing and children of members in good standing who are enrolled in post-secondary education.

Award Details:

  • Total funding (2025): $84,000 distributed to 76 winners in varying amounts

  • Funds source: General fund to help members with the ever-increasing costs of higher education
  • Geographic Scope: North Atlantic States Regional Council area (MA, CT, NY, VT, NH, RI, ME)

    Eligibility:

  • Members in good standing of NASRCC

  • Children of members in good standing of NASRCC

  • Must be enrolled in post-secondary/higher education
  • Program Changes (2025):

  • Removed essay component

  • New requirement: Applicants must participate in service or activity that supports the union

  • Must complete and verify service/activity when submitting application

    Application Process

    1. Review eligibility guidelines established by the Scholarship Committee before applying

    2. Complete service/activity requirement:
    - Participate in service or activity that supports the union
    - Must be completed before submitting application
    - Activity must be verified when submitting application

    3. Submit online application:
    - Application submitted through online portal
    - Include verification of completed service/activity

    4. Deadline: Applications must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 13, 2026
    - Applications received after deadline will not be accepted
